Young Entrepreneurs PowerPlay

Community Future Revelstoke and School District 19 elementary schools are teaming up with an exciting program to offer to students in Grades 4-7. Students create a product and do all the marketing and money management on their own in class. Community Futures offers a mini micro loan to students who need them and a loan agreement is signed. In the end, students can show off their finished products at a fair and sell their goods. Students bring their amazing creativity and learning capabilities to the table while having fun and possibly having the skills to become an entrepreneur in the future. PowerPlay uses real-world learning experiences to help youth develop entrepreneurial thinking, practical money management skills and the drive to make a difference.  View the website for more information:
