Duet Bike Volunteer Coordinator, Mount Cartier Court
Volunteer Job Description: Do you love making seniors smile? Do you love getting outside and riding your bike? Do you love to volunteer but want/need flexible hours? Mount Cartier Court is looking for YOU to oversee the coordination of our duet bike operations this summer!
The ideal candidate will be able to commit to this position for the 2018 biking season. This position will require one or two half days per week which can be flexible. Applicants must be able to work well with seniors and the public in general. Your role will be to recruit volunteers, MCC seniors and families to take place in the program. A preferred candidate will have excellent communication skills; should have intermediate road biking safety and riding skills and a willingness to learn. All volunteers will be required to complete a criminal record check. Self-motivation and ability to work independently have experience with community outreach, recruit donations and be willing to collaborate with of community partners.
